Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech and language, SEMH)
Support pupils'' emotional well-being and promote positive behaviour
Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities
Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to teachers and SENCo
Help create an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment
Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals when appropriate
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting
A patient, caring and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of strategies to support learning and behaviour
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEND qualification) are desirable but not essential
