Simply Education is working in partnership with a large and successful secondary school in Stone to recruit a dedicated Cover Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers and experienced support staff looking to build a career within education.

The school caters for students from Key Stage 3 through to Sixth Form and places a strong emphasis on academic achievement, personal development and preparing young people for their next stage of education. What You''ll Be Doing

• Supervising classes during teacher absence
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and learning activities
• Maintaining positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Ensuring students remain engaged and on task
• Supporting learning across a range of secondary subjects
• Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Building professional relationships with students and staff

What We''re Looking For

• Experience working with young people is desirable
• Confidence managing groups of students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm, resilient and professional approach
• Ability to build positive relationships quickly
• Good organisational skills
• A genuine interest in education and supporting young people
• Graduates, sports coaches, youth workers and teaching assistants are encouraged to apply
