This is a hands-on, manufacturing-focused role offering involvement across the full engineering lifecycle, from concept development and site measurements through to manufacturing drawings, fabrication support, assembly and installation. Working closely with an experienced workshop and manufacturing team, you will gain valuable exposure to real-world engineering projects while developing practical solutions that can be successfully manufactured and installed. The RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play an important role in the design and development of bespoke mechanical equipment and assemblies. Your responsibilities will include: Developing mechanical equipment and assemblies from concept through to manufacture. Producing 3D models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. Creating fabrication drawings for laser cutting, folding, welding and assembly. Designing machined components including shafts, housings, fixtures, brackets and mechanical assemblies.
