We''re looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a nationwide Principal Contractor on a prestigious c.-15 million traditional-build care home project.

This is an excellent opportunity for an all-rounder Assistant Site Manager who is confident working across the full range of site management responsibilities and has a strong understanding of traditional construction methods and structures from start to finish.

The Role

• Supporting the Site Manager and Contracts Manager with the day-to-day running of the project
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site activities
• Monitoring quality, progress and health & safety
• Assisting with programme management and short-term planning
• Working closely with the commercial and design teams
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site presentation
• Helping drive the project through to successful completion

About You

We''re looking for someone with a solid construction background who has experience on traditional-build projects, ideally within the residential or care home sector. You should be comfortable overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle from groundworks to handover.
