Four Points Flex By SheratonWe are looking for a commercially driven Sales and Marketing Manager with experience delivering measurable results. The primary focus is sales growth for our Brighton portfolio. You will be responsible for generating new business, maximising revenue from existing accounts, and creating bold, innovative strategies to increase occupancy and average spend across our Brighton hotels. The Queens Hotel, Four Points Flex by Sheraton Brighton, and The Brighton Hotel.A key part of your mission will be to drive direct bookings, reduce reliance on Online Travel Agents (OTAs), and build a loyal base of repeat guests through creative sales strategies and targeted marketing.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel or hospitality sales, be an outside of the box thinker, and have the drive to turn ideas into profitable action. While sales will be your core priority, you will also oversee marketing activities ensuring our digital presence, brand messaging, and campaigns are aligned with commercial goals.Key Responsibilities

Sales – Primary Focus

Develop and execute a clear sales strategy to increase revenue across all three hotels, with a particular emphasis on Four Points Flex by Sheraton.Proactively

increase direct business

through targeted sales campaigns, partnerships, and incentives that encourage guests to book direct.Identify, target, and secure new business from corporate, leisure, group, and events markets.Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, agencies, and local business networks.Maximise repeat bookings and upselling opportunities, including meetings, events, FandB, and spa services.Actively attend networking events, trade shows, and industry forums to generate leads.Work closely with the Revenue Manager to optimise pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies that maximise profitability and encourage direct bookings.Share market intelligence and booking trends with the Revenue Manager to make informed dynamic pricing decisions and ensure sales efforts align with revenue targets.Analyse sales data to identify gaps, opportunities, and trends, adjusting strategies accordingly.Increase conversion rate from enquiries to confirmed bookings.Engaging marketing campaigns that directly contribute to increased revenueMarketing – Commercially Led

Oversee digital marketing agency output to ensure it directly supports sales goals and reduces OTA dependency.Manage and challenge our digital agency to ensure websites, SEO, PPC, and online campaigns deliver measurable ROI and prioritise direct bookings.Develop creative, results-driven campaigns that stand out in a competitive Brighton market and encourage guests to book direct.Ensure all promotional activity (online and offline) is consistent, timely, and commercially viable.Work closely with hotel teams to create packages and promotions that convert into direct sales.General

Report weekly on sales performance, pipeline, and campaign results.Maintain up to date competitor analysis to stay ahead in pricing, packages, and positioning.Collaborate with hotel management teams to ensure sales and marketing efforts are operationally deliverable.Skills and Experience

Proven track record in sales within hospitality, preferably hotels.Demonstrated success in increasing direct business and reducing OTA reliance.Strong network of contacts and ability to generate leads independently.Creative thinker with a commercial mindset — able to spot and capitalise on opportunities.Confidence in overseeing digital marketing activities, including websites, PPC, and social media with agency.Skilled negotiator with excellent presentation and communication abilities.Data-driven approach to decision-making, with a focus on ROI.
