This position involves supporting critical virtualisation infrastructure that underpins national security platforms. You will be working within the technical team responsible for designing, developing, and validating virtual estate components essential to mission-critical systems. Your expertise will help ensure the stability, resilience, and security of vital virtual infrastructure used by Defence operations.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, build, and validate virtualisation components within the NSoIT(D) PlatformProduce and review design artefacts at all levelsSupport system testing activities and assist with troubleshooting of virtual environmentsCollaborate with service management teams to resolve infrastructure issues rapidlyDocument technical solutions and ensure compliance with security standardsJob Requirements:Minimum of 3 years'' experience in IT infrastructure with a strong focus on virtualisationProven knowledge of VMware ESXi and associated features such as Distributed Virtual Switches, Distributed Resource Scheduler, Distributed Power Management, VMware vSAN, and VMware vCenterExperience with VMware NSX, Horizon, AppVolumes, and AppStacksStrong understanding of secure architecture development within complex environmentsAbility to troubleshoot virtualisation components and support production ..... full job details .....
