One of the specialist academies we''re supporting in Sunderland works with young people aged 11-19 with severe learning difficulties and profound, multiple and complex medical needs.What could the role involve?Supporting pupils throughout their school dayProviding 1:1 and small-group supportPersonal care and physical support where requiredEncouraging communication, engagement and independenceSupporting pupils with sensory and learning activitiesWorking closely with teachers and experienced support staffWho are we looking for?Previous school experience is not essential.
