What you''ll be doing As a Support Worker, you''ll support people both in their own homes and out in the community, helping them live fulfilling, independent lives. Every person is different, so every day looks a little different too. You might be: Supporting someone to access activities, clubs or social events Building genuine relationships and providing emotional support Helping with cooking and everyday household tasks Supporting with medication Assisting with budgeting and developing life skills Encouraging confidence, independence and personal goals Providing personal care where needed (only for a small number of people) This role is centered around empowering people, not doing everything for them.
