This is a contract role ideal for someone with strong project engineering experience and a passion for automation.Key Responsibilities: Lead the installation of robotic and automated systems across manufacturing lines. Identify manual processes suitable for automation and assess cost vs. savings. Write and issue RFQs to suppliers, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with business needs. Compare supplier proposals and manage sourcing events. Oversee layout changes and coordinate with internal departments (IT, Maintenance, etc.). Manage suppliers and integrators, ensuring alignment timing plans. Conduct and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), ensuring installations meet RFQ specifications. Maintain project documentation and lead internal reviews.Requirements: Strong project management skills with experience in automation or engineering project delivery. Understanding of automation systems and PLCs (no programming required). Experience managing suppliers and integration partners.
