We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Assurance Training and Competence Manager to join our CEFA account. National role can be based anywhere from the UK with occasional office visits. In this role, you will assist the Engineering and Assurance Project Director by ensuring all personnel on the CEFA Rail projects are competent. You will help produce project technical and operational documents and ensure compliance covering examinations and assessment of railway civil assets including bridges, retaining walls and stations to fully meet the client specification in accordance with relevant standards. This role offers you the unique opportunity to work with Amey, who have worked continuously with Network Rail delivering aspects of the CEFA contracts since 2009. You will ensure the ongoing safety of our team and the daily travelling public using the tens of thousands of railway assets that we examine and assess. What You''ll Do: Assist in writing and maintaining the Competence Management System. Assist in managing production and maintenance of technical training material. Management and administration of applying the Competence Management System; including training, assessment, annual review and renewal of staff competences and verification and audit exercises .
