Sous Chef - Contract Catering - £15.75p/h - Work Life Balance

Our client is a global player in the contract catering industry that supply catering and facility services to various sites throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef for their site in Yeovil.

This Company offers excellent benefits and opportunities to progress. The successful candidate will work 5/7 days - 40 hrs per week - with only 1 in 3 weekends - driving licence required to commute to the site - qualified to Level 2 in Catering - function work available as overtime - Shift pattern - Earlies , Lates, longer days Monday- shorter days Fridays

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Sous Chef will Include:

* To ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards* To support manager in maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within a budget* To be responsible for maintaining up to date product and menu knowledge* To maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation, ensuring portion and quality control* To comply with health and safety and food safety legislations

What You Need To Be a Successful Sous Chef:Previous Experience as a Chef ready for the next step or similar Sous Chef experienceNVQ or City and Guilds Chef qualifications are requiredBasic Food Hygiene CertificateExcellent communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
