As a Surface Mount Machine Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including:Hand soldering Circuit Card Assemblies to IPC 610 and 001 standardsPerforming fine soldering work under magnificationAssembling surface mount and through-hole componentsUndertaking detailed standard assembly and manufacturing activitiesEnsuring all work is completed to the required procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and timescalesTo be successful in this role, you will need:Prior knowledge and experience in circuit card assemblyExcellent dexterity for fine workThe ability to read and interpret layoutsA willingness to work flexible shift patternsExceptional attention to detailThe ability to work independently with minimal supervisionESD trainingDesirable skills include PC literacy and experience with IPC 610 and 001 hand soldering.
