Customer Service Advisor

Our client based in Rainham, Essex is looking to recruit an experienced customer services advisor.

General overview: - 

Responsible for managing customer relationships, generating quotations, processing orders, and supporting the external sales team. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while driving revenue growth within the company.

Principle duties: -

•    Act as the primary point of contact for customers via phone and email 
•    Prepare and follow up on quotations for components, systems, and services 
•    Pro-actively contact customers to identify sales opportunities
•    Process sales orders accurately and ensure timely delivery 
•    Provide technical and commercial support to customers
•    Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts 
•    Maintain and update customer data in CRM systems 
•    Collaborate with Technical Support, Logistics and Procurement 
•    Handle customer inquiries, complaints and after-sales support

Skills
•    Commercial awareness and negotiation skills 
•    Knowledge of engineering products is a plus
•    Attention to detail and accuracy 
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines 
•    Team player with a proactive attitude
•    Customer-focused with strong organizational skills. 

Candidates will ideally have at least 3 years previous experience of a CSR role based within either an engineering, automotive or construction sectors. Our clients’ facilities offer a modern, well equipped working environment.

Hours of work are flexible, but you must complete 37.5 hours.

Flexible Start from - Mon -Friday: 07.30am

Flexible Finish - Mon -Thurs to: 17.00

Friday finish is 12.30pm.

The position is for an initial 6 months but may be extended. This role is an immediate start; candidates must be available to take up the role at short notice.
