TieTalent Saffron Walden, England, United KingdomAt Station Street, we support people across Hertfordshire with severe and enduring mental health needs. As a Care and Support Worker with a sector leader within mental health, you’ll make a real difference to their lives as you develop the personal, flexible, and recovery-focused support plans they need to help turn things around. Station Street provides residential rehabilitation for 5 people with a range of mental health problems. You need to be flexible to work various shift patterns including late shifts, nights and weekends. You would be required to work a rota system that includes some weekends and bank holidays. Full time hours of 15 per week. Overtime is also available.Responsibilities
Provide care and support to residents with severe and enduring mental illness as part of recovery-focused plansSupport residents to take control, improve quality of life and face the future with confidenceWork as part of a team to deliver flexible, person-centred careBe adaptable to different shift patterns, including late shifts, nights and weekendsIdeal Candidate / Qualifications
Experience of working with people with long-term mental health issuesGood understanding of the issues they face and the recovery modelStrong communication skills, flexibility, energy, empathy, understanding, and patienceEnthusiastic, motivated, and committed to supporting others to fulfil their potentialAbout Us
