Health and Social Care Lecturer

Pay Rate: Up to £32 per hour including holiday pay

Location: Suffolk

Job Type: Temporary, ongoing (4-5 days per week)

Reed FE are working with a College in Suffolk and are seeking a dedicated Health and Social Care Lecturer to join the educational team on a temporary ongoing basis. This role involves teaching up to Level 3 Health and Social Care courses. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and committed to helping students achieve their academic and career goals.

Day-to-day of the role:

Deliver engaging and informative lectures and seminars in Health and Social Care up to Level 3.

Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum guidelines and educational standards.

Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.

Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.

Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and improvement.

Stay updated with current trends and developments in the field of Health and Social Care education.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A recognised teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Health and Social Care courses up to Level 3.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.

Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
