Founded in 2018, they were the first company to produce paper straws in the UK and are now part of the largest producer of fibre-based products, including all types of drinking straws, in Europe.As part of their continuous drive to innovate, they are investing in new production equipment from Europe and launching a wide range of fibre-based products.About the JobWe are looking for an experienced Machine Setter / Operator for an immediate start.This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a background in machine setting and operating within a production environment.This is a temporary-to-permanent position following a successful training period.Key Responsibilities Set and operate production machinery to required specificationsInstall and adjust tooling for efficient machine performanceWork on tube-line machinery producing paper tubes and wrappingEnsure consistent quality and output targets are achievedCarry out basic fault finding and routine maintenanceReplace bearings and wire where requiredMake setting adjustments to ensure smooth, continuous operationBuild operator knowledge to maximise machine efficiencyComplete accurate production recordsFollow all health and safety procedures at all times Skills and Experience Required Proven experience as a Machine Setter / Machine OperatorBasic maintenance and engineering knowledgeExperience working with ..... full job details .....
