Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you''ll play a vital role in supporting the legal affairs of the business and ensuring robust management of legal risk. You''ll work alongside a highly skilled legal team, providing high-quality advice and guidance to colleagues across the business, including the Board. The scope is wide-ranging-covering commercial and IT contracts, data privacy, corporate governance, procurement, employment law, and investment management matters. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal support across a broad range of business functions and initiatives.Draft, review, and advise on a wide array of contracts and agreements, including employment, consultancy, procurement, and service contracts.Support responses to Freedom of Information Act requests.Advise on data protection obligations and help ensure compliance with the Data Protection ActContribute to corporate governance and compliance frameworks.Monitor and assess legal and regulatory developments through proactive horizon-scanning.Liaise with external legal counsel where specialist advice is needed.Support the firm in implementing changes resulting from new laws or regulatory updates.
