Business Development Executive

A rare opportunity for you to join a rapidly growing business. The Engineering and Consultancy services of this SME are expanding, and need an experienced Business Development/Sales person to join the team. You will work alongside and report to our Head of Business Development, focusing on the Defence market.The Role:As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in delivering sales pipeline, managing key accounts, and driving the growth of the business in line with their strategy. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, negotiating and closing sales opportunities, and forming strategic partnerships.Key Responsibilities:Negotiate, drive, and close sales opportunities in line with quarterly business targetsDevelop and maintain a robust sales pipelineForge partnerships with strategically aligned companies and organisationsManage proposals and bids, including producing technical proposals and coordinating tender responsesIdentify and analyse sales channelsMaximise lead generation and develop relationships through networking and sales opportunity eventsSupport marketing efforts at events across the worldTravel to meet business needs and seize opportunitiesIs This You?Personal Attributes:Commercially savvy with strong negotiation skillsThrives when working to a targetSelf-assured and confident with high personal resilienceExcellent customer management skills, with the ability to manage customer expectations ..... full job details .....
