Maintenance Engineer - AMR ChampionLocation: TelfordEmployment Type: Permanent, Full TimeWorking Pattern: DaysHours: 37.5 hours per week About the Role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer - AMR Champion to join a busy automotive manufacturing environment in Telford. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, with support from the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance and Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and availability of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), as well as supporting wider plant equipment and facilities when required. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring reliable plant operation, minimising downtime and supporting production and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Ensure AMR and equipment availability meets departmental targets. Carry out root cause analysis on repeat and major breakdowns and provide reports with recommended improvements. Identify and implement improvements to prevent recurring equipment issues. Support planned preventative maintenance (PM) schedules and recommend improvements. Provide technical support to internal customers, including non-breakdown-related issues. Ensure all health, safety and environmental procedures are followed during maintenance activities. Maintain and improve equipment to support consistent product quality. Attend relevant training and work in accordance with company standards.
