Noble Recruiting has an exciting opportunity on behalf of our client for a Service Charges and Rent Manager to take operational responsibility for the effective management, administration, and communication of service charges and rent processes across a housing portfolio of 7,000+ homes, including homeowners, freeholders, estates, and garages. This leadership role ensures compliance, accuracy, transparency, and high customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement and managing a customer-facing team. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage annual service charge budgets, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Issue annual rent and service charge notifications in line with regulatory requirements and best practice. Provide clear breakdowns of charges with transparent explanations of cost changes. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (e.g., Leasehold Reform Act, Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, Housing Acts). Oversee estate charges, utility billing, and sinking funds. Respond to resident queries and explain charges clearly. Work with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure agreed service standards. Lead implementation of new systems and technologies to improve service delivery. Present financial and compliance reports to Boards, Committees, and other governance groups.
