This role will involve assisting the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations on a steel frame construction project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Site Manager in managing all on-site construction activitiesSupervise and coordinate subcontractors, with a strong focus on steel frame erection and associated tradesMonitor progress against programme and assist in driving works to meet key milestonesEnforce strict health and safety standards in line with CDM regulationsCarry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefingsEnsure quality control through regular inspections and snagging processesAssist with managing site documentation, including RAMS, permits to work, and daily reportsCoordinate site logistics, deliveries, and material storageMaintain clear communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project teamRequirementsProven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor within constructionStrong background working on steel frame / structural steel projects (essential)Experience on industrial, warehouse, or self-storage builds highly desirableSolid understanding of ..... full job details .....
