Following a member of staff retiring, our client is looking to bolster its tax team. The tax team work in a collaborative way (sharing compliance and advisory work and allocating accordingly based on current work load and most suitable skill set etc). The role can be offered 3 days or 4 days per week.DescriptionProcess tax compliance for a portfolio of clients (private client tax bias - some corporate tax compliance involved too).Provide tailored tax advisory services to meet client requirements (in relation to CGT and IHT).Ensure all tax filings are accurate and submitted on time.Stay updated on tax legislation and assess its impact on clients.Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless service.Identify opportunities for tax planning and efficiency improvements.Support clients during HMRC queries or audits.Work in collaboration with the wider tax team (team of 3).ProfileA successful Tax Manager should have:Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and compliance requirements.Experience in personal tax (required), experience of corporate tax (desirable).Experience in managing a portfolio of clients.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in tax software (experience using IRIS is preferred) ..... full job details .....
