We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. Duties

• Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including checking shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Handle materials with care, ensuring compliance with safety regulations during movement.
• Conduct equipment repair as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Utilise forklifts and other machinery safely for transporting heavy items within the warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to facilitate smooth operations.
• Assist in inventory counts and report discrepancies as necessary.
• Work on the trade counter interacting with members of the public

Skills

• Proficient in using warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
• Experience with equipment repair and maintenance is advantageous.
• Strong skills in materials handling, ensuring safe transport of goods.
• Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding workflow processes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
• Basic mathematical skills for accurate inventory management and record keeping.
