My client, a highly-respected, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their accomplished team of expert designers and engineers, based near the industrial, culturally-diverse city of Wolverhampton.Essential Criteria

Extensive experience in the Civil Engineering sector, having worked on a range of different projects within a consultancy capacityA Degree (or Higher Degree) in Civil EngineeringDemonstrable experience of leading a range of projects, across the residential, commercial, and/or industrial sectorsKnowledge of the relevant Section Agreements, including S104, S38, S278, etc.Experience of managing stakeholders across the public and private sectors, with commercial knowledge and awarenessGood working knowledge of a range of software packages, including AutoCAD, Civils 3D, etc.Desirable Criteria

Chartered Membership of a recognised Professional Body (or proactively working to attain Chartered Status)Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsGood time management skills, with the ability to remain flexible and adaptableA willingness to engage with a range of projects, with a view to developing your careerRole and Responsibilities

Overseeing a range of design projects at all stages of the process, from inception through to successful deliveryPreparation of tenders and fee proposals, drawing upon commercial and technical experienceProducing Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Scoping Reports, and Drainage Strategies, as well as overseeing their completion by other colleaguesLeading your team in the production of conceptual drainage design (incorporating SuDS techniques) and the creation of relevant drainage plansWorking to develop designs for adoptable roads and highwaysReviewing reports, calculations, and drawingsPresenting Flood Risk Appraisals to clients, providing practical risk mitigation, recommendations, and commercial adviceBenefits
