Power Electronics Engineer
Location: London
Contract: 12 months
Rate: £50 DOE (Inside IR35)
 

We’re looking for an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to support development of high-voltage DC power systems used in critical infrastructure.

This is a hands-on design role, working on high voltage DC-DC converters and high voltage circuits in a high-reliability environment. Expect to be onsite regularly due to lab-based work.
 

Key Experience Required

• Strong power electronics design (DC-DC converters 
• Experience designing high-voltage DC-DC converters 
• Proven end-to-end hardware development
• Strong understanding of SMPS control loops, stability and compensation
• Simulation experience (LTspice, PLECS or similar)
• PCB design (Altium, Zuken or similar)

Nice to Have

• Experience with high-power or HVDC systems
• EMC / compliance experience
• Background in regulated or high-reliability sectors
