Project Engineer Location: Flexible across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire Salary: Up to £65,514 Working pattern: Hybrid - typically 2 days WFH and 3 days across site/project offices The Opportunity As a Project Engineer, you''ll support the construction and delivery of a major UK rail infrastructure programme, taking engineering responsibility for a specific section, asset or area of construction. You''ll be close to the day-to-day engineering activity, managing technical queries, short-notice changes and assurance requirements as construction progresses. You''ll work directly with contractors, subcontractors and designers to resolve issues while ensuring engineering and technical assurance requirements are maintained. You won''t need to come from one specific discipline. Experience across structures, highways, earthworks or wider civil engineering is relevant, with the opportunity to develop broader multidisciplinary experience. Reporting to a Senior Project Engineer, you''ll manage immediate engineering requirements within your area while escalating more complex or route-wide matters where appropriate.
