This role requires a compassionate individual who can provide tailored support within our SEN unit from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm daily. The ideal candidate will have PECCS experience and a background in secondary school SEN support.Day-to-day of the role:Provide one-to-one support to a Year 10 student, focusing on both academic and emotional needs.Assist the student with lesson comprehension and participation, adapting methods to suit their learning style.Support the student in building confidence and managing low self-esteem through positive reinforcement and tailored encouragement.Work closely with the SEN unit to monitor and report on the student''s progress.Maintain a flexible approach to adapt to the student''s needs and respond to varying challenges.Foster a nurturing and supportive relationship with the student to enhance their educational experience.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience with PECCS and supporting SEN students at the secondary school level.Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and resilience.Strong interpersonal skills to build a positive rapport with students.Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the student and the educational environment.Commitment to professional development and learning in the field of special ..... full job details .....
