Job Title: Electrical Inspector

Location: Luton and surrounding areas

Pay Rate: £46,519.65 per annum basic salary OTE: Up to £65,000 with guaranteed overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week

Our client is a nationally recognised provider of electrical safety and compliance services, known for delivering high-quality electrical testing, inspection, and remedial works across the UK. The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Inspector to carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial and industrial sites. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough EICRs and electrical inspections on commercial and industrial premises.

• Identify and report electrical faults, hazards, and non-compliances.

• Deliver clear, accurate and compliant inspection reports with appropriate remedial recommendations.

• Liaise with clients and site personnel in a professional and technically proficient manner.

• Maintain and calibrate test equipment and tools as per company standards.

• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with current electrical standards and safety regulations.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical inspection and testing.

• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.

• Proficiency in using testing equipment and digital reporting systems.

• A meticulous approach to detail, compliance, and reporting.

• Good communication skills and customer-facing professionalism.

Required Qualifications:

• City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing (Essential)

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Essential)

• IET 18th Edition (BS7671:2018) Wiring Regulations (Essential)

• Valid UK driving licence
