Senior Town Planner - Central London Planning Consultancy

Carrington West are pleased to be partnering with a leading planning consultancy based in Central London is seeking an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented planning professional with 7-8 years'' experience to take the next step in their career within a highly regarded and ambitious consultancy environment.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in town planning, gained either within the private sector (planning consultancy) or from a public sector planning authority. You will be confident managing a range of planning projects, providing strategic planning advice, and working with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Ideally, you will be MRTPI accredited (or working towards chartership) and have a proven track record of handling complex planning applications, appeals, development proposals, and policy matters.
Key Responsibilities:
·Managing a diverse portfolio of planning projects across a range of sectors
·Providing expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders
·Preparing and reviewing planning applications, reports, and supporting documentation
·Leading negotiations with Local Planning Authorities and other stakeholders
·Supporting junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of the business
·Keeping up to date with changes in planning legislation, policy, and best practice
About You:
·7-8 years'' professional experience in town planning
·Experience working in either a planning consultancy or local authority environment
·Ideally MRTPI qualified (or equivalent experience)
·Strong understanding of the UK planning system and development process
·Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
·A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
