An established and approachable law firm is seeking to recruit a full-time Residential Conveyancing Assistant to join its friendly and well-regarded residential property team based in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, well-organised legal assistant looking to develop their career within a supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out general administrative tasksPreparing and submitting quotes to clientsHandling queries from clients, solicitors, lenders, and estate agentsProviding client updates and monitoring matter progressionOpening and closing files on the case management system in line with AML, quality standards, SRA, and CQS regulationsSupporting leasehold transactionsConducting online searchesUsing the Land Registry portal to submit registrations, respond to requisitions, and obtain official copies, leases, and title plansGenerating Stamp Duty Land Tax calculations and submitting applicationsPreparing and submitting bills, receipts, and payments to the finance team on behalf of fee earnersProviding occasional reception coverRequirementsPrevious experience as a conveyancing assistant preferredGood understanding of the day-to-day operations of a legal officeAdvanced computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)Working knowledge of case management softwareStrong English language proficiencyExcellent administrative and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and work under pressureHigh attention to detailBasic ..... full job details .....
