Our client is a leading financial services organization seeking an experienced legal operations manager to join its team. The role focuses on managing outside counsel and legal billing outside of the US. Responsibilities include:Reviewing and approving legal bills.Managing requests for proposals (RFPs).Managing outside counsel by securing cost-effective secondees from law firms/ALSPs.Implementing AI/technology to improve internal procedures.Candidate requirements:Ideally, a qualified lawyer with an interest in legal operations OR an experienced legal operations manager.Experience in legal operations and legal spend management is essential.Strong strategic planning skills and experience managing teams.
