Here''s what you need to know before applying:Your key responsibilities will include:To promote a safety culture and ensure team members are aware of and operate in accordance with company and client Health and Safety procedures at all timesTo ensure the teams are engaged and coached effectively to achieve our performance targetsTo work with and coach the Kitchen Managers in unit to support the delivery of their sales and profit margin targetsTo ensure stock, promotions and merchandising comply with company procedures and sales are maximisedTo deliver operational excellence through execution of the what good looks like'' guidelinesTo provide unit cover for your kitchens when required.To conduct regular site visits to the given area of responsibility and complete auditsTo work flexibly, attend meetings and training courses as requiredTo role model the Chartwells Way behaviours at all times to colleagues, customers and clientsTo ensure all company, client and legal requirements, processes and procedures are implemented effectivelyTo support Kitchen Managers with added value and parents eveningsOur ideal Mobile Chef Manager will:An enthusiastic individual with experience working in a school meal environmentMust have experience of leading and coaching a team of peopleAn outstanding communicator, able to liaise confidently with customers and clients and lead, engage and develop team membersBe motivated to achieve results and to drive profitsIT literate - Must be able to work with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SkypeMust have strong organisational skills to be able to manage their own time efficiently to deliver results.Must be assertive, calm and work well under pressureHave high standards of personal hygieneBe able to undertake a range of manual dutiesSelf-motivated and ability to adapt to a changing environmentPart of Compass Group UKandI, Chartwells is the leading provider of catering and support services to the education sector.
