Primary Teacher
Randstad Education is proud to partner with a modern village school in Dunmow to recruit a dedicated Year 1/2 Class Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator seeking a better work-life balance through a structured job share arrangement. This position starts after the half term break. Working from Wednesday to Friday, you will take over a bright and eager mixed-age class. As this is a job share, you will benefit from a collaborative relationship with your counterpart to ensure the continued progress and well being of the pupils for the remainder of the academic year. Key Responsibilities Class Management: Taking full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivery, and marking. Collaboration: Liaising closely with the Monday/Tuesday teacher to ensure a seamless transition and consistent classroom routines. Curriculum Delivery: Providing high-quality lessons tailored to a mixed Year 1 and 2 cohort, ensuring all children are challenged and supported. Engagement: Maintaining the school''s high standards of inclusive education within a contemporary, well-resourced learning environment. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or 2). A flexible, "can-do" approach with the ability to hit the ground running immediately.
