Regional Sales Manager

On behalf of our customer, a world leading aerospace component distributor based in Basingstoke, we are currently recruiting a Regional Sales Manager to join their UK team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience working in the aviation aftermarket component sector, be methodical in their sales approach, and be able to manage and develop a large portfolio of key accounts.This is a remote role with regular international travel and a requirement to visit the Basingstoke office twice a month.The Role To prepare and execute all aspects of the sales cycle for a broad scope of products, services and solutions - targeting airline and MRO customersDeliver and regularly exceed sales targetsPosition the company as a world class partner with every customer by embracing their values and successfully balancing the customers requirements with the corporate objectives Duties and Responsibilities Technically understand the functionality of all the company s products and be able to effectively sell by differentiating them over the competitionDevelop sales plans and coordinate with Product Managers in advance of meetings; following the visit, constructs a final report outlining the findings and actions along with market intelligenceMakes sales calls and travel to customers a minimum of 40%Executes tactical sales meetings at customer facilities to include Engineering, Planning, Purchasing and Management representativesDevelops relationships with a balanced cross section of ..... full job details .....
