Engineering Stores Person
Overview The Company are a leading company in designing, manufacturing, and supplying high-performance sensors globally, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stores Technician to join our team. The Stores Technician will be responsible for managing the receipt, inspection, and handling of goods in the stores department, ensuring compliance with quality standards and stock control. Hours: 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday (early finish Friday on rotation) Salary: up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience Once training is complete the salary will rise to £27,200 per annum. Responsibilities of the Stores Technician Receive, book, and inspect goodsEnsure compliance with quality standardsCorrectly label and store goodsPick kits and issue materialsPack and label finished goodsControl inventory and rotate stockDispatch finished items promptlyPrepare export documentationMaintain accurate stock levelsProvide cover in any store location within the businessAdhere to operational procedures, rules, and schedules Qualifications General numeracy and literacy skillsProficiency in PC applications (Word, Excel, MRP systems, etc.)Manual handling experienceOrganized and self-motivatedStrong communication skillsFlexibility and adaptabilityAttention to detailPrevious stores experienceFamiliarity with inspection equipmentFull and valid UK driving licenseForklift experience is desirable but not essential.
