The ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant would have previous experience working with children in secondary schools, as well as having managed emotional and behavioral barriers to learning. Knowledge of mental health is also desirable.

Job Role

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Assist the teacher in organizing and delivering engaging lessons.
• Support students and their needs
• Manage complex and challenging behaviour
• Build positive and trusting relationships with young people

• Experience with working with children or young people in education
