Light Commercial Vehicle Technician

£35,000–£40,000 per year
Full-time | Permanent | 45 hours/week | Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:30pm

We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Light Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a well-established team with over 65 years of industry success. Based in Fradley Park, this role offers the chance to work in a modern, fully equipped workshop and be part of a company that values its people and their development.
Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair light commercial vehicles (mainly Renault vans and Luton bodies).
• Carry out inspections, PMIs, and MOT prep to DVSA standards.
• Perform mechanical repairs including brakes, clutches, suspension, and engine diagnostics.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and complete accurate repairs.
• Maintain service records and ensure compliance paperwork is completed.
• Keep the workshop clean, safe, and compliant with health & safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Experience working with LCVs in a workshop or fleet environment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
