We are looking for a Fettler for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield

Immediate start available (subject to interview process)

Rate of pay is -14.00 per hour (for basic hours)

This will be working Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 3:30pm

The successful candidate will be responsible for finishing fabricated metal components to a high standard, removing excess material, weld spatter and sharp edges, and preparing products ready for the next stage of production.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous experience within a fabrication, engineering or manufacturing environment who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Fettling and finishing fabricated steel and metal components.
• Grinding, linishing and removing excess weld material.
• Removing sharp edges, burrs and weld spatter.
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Preparing components to the required specification and quality standards.
• Inspecting finished components for defects and ensuring a high standard of workmanship.
• Reading and working from drawings and job specifications where required.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working area.
• Following company health and safety procedures at all times.
• Working closely with welders, fabricators and other members of the production team.
• Meeting production targets and deadlines while maintaining quality.

Must have previous experience with polishing stainless steel and fettling balustrade to a high standard
