The company are constantly growing and their order book overflowing! Due to this, they are on the lookout for a skilled CNC Turner (particularly sliding head but training is provided).The role:You will focus on developing hydraulic cartridge valves and keeping to safety standards while setting and operating a Sliding Head CNC Machine. Responsibility will be yours for keeping to quality standards for valve components made for a large variety of international projects.Duties:Machine Setup and Operation. Set up sliding head CNC machines using tooling and setup sheets to machine components to specified tolerances and within set times.Follow Health and Safety and 5S Standards: Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines, maintain and improve 5S workplace organization and lean standardsTool Maintenance by use of change inserts, drills, and other tooling as needed, and suggest alternative tooling solutions when appropriate.Inspection and Quality Control to keep company standards. Conduct dimensional inspections using appropriate equipment and accurately record output and scrap.Work Order Compliance.
