Interim payroll Specialist

My client a global financial services client is seeking an interim Payroll Specialist to start asap for a period of 9 monthsThis is a fantastic opportunity to work within financial services client and start a new role next month. Below is a breakdown of the duties of the role Payroll:Processing the monthly payroll from end to end for approximately for 800+ employees within a team of 3Prepare monthly payroll sign off.Payment of disbursements for Tax, National Insurance, Pension, Give as You Earn and Attachment of Earnings.Reconciliation of payroll control and benefit related balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.Perform monthly National Living Wage checks.Assist with end of year reporting to HMRC such as P60, P11D andPAYE Settlement AgreementRespond to general queries from our internal Finance Team. employees, HMRC and other Government bodies.Liaising with internal and external auditors and dealing with any issues as they arise.Continuously drive for process improvement of the payroll function. Person SpecificationIn depth ''end to end'' payroll experience, including year-end processing and statutory payments and deductions.Comfortable with manual calculations.Good understanding of pension legislation including Auto-Enrolment.Previous exposure to flexible benefits and payroll impact.Experience of ADP IHCM advantageousGood IT skills essential, including intermediate Excel (Vlookups and Pivot Tables) and MS Word. ..... full job details .....
