Location: Coventry CV7
 
Day shift: Monday to Friday 14.00 - 22.00
 
Payrate: upto £15.00 p/h

We are looking for a skilled Power Press setter/operator to join a busy manufacturing business in Coventry CV7. This is a temp to perm opportunity with steady hours, premium overtime, and the chance to join a growing welding team.

The Role

• Setting and operating a Manual and Hydraulic power press 
• Working from detailed engineering drawings
• Conduct first off inspections 
• Reporting to the Manager
• Occasionally working independently on varied jobs and materials

What We''re Looking For

• Skilled Power Press setter/operator 
• Previous experience setting and operating a Manual and Hydraulic Press 
• Previous experience in 150 turns to 800 turns 
• Experience in using Micrometers, Verniers, calipers, and height Gauges 
• Previous laser experience would be an advantage 
• Confident in reading technical drawings
• 3+ years of experience setting and operating an Amada press brake 
• Someone who can hit the ground running and work on their own initiative
