Working Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours per Week 8:00am - 4:00pm

 

Are you an experienced Electromechanical Assembler with a background in cable assembly, wiring, crimping and soldering? Do you take pride in building high-quality products and delivering right-first-time results?

We are looking for an Electromechanical Assembler to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business in Fareham. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of complex electro-mechanical assemblies, servers, racks and cable builds within a modern, quality-driven production environment.

The Role

As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of a range of products, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards and customer specifications.

Working from engineering drawings and work instructions, you will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency, product quality and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and test IPCs, servers, racks and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Manufacture and modify cable assemblies using approved tools and processes
• Carry out wiring, crimping and soldering activities to IPC-A-620 standards
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions
• Ensure compliance with ESD controls and handling procedures
• Identify and report build issues, documentation errors and process improvements
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and product quality
• Support the achievement of production schedules and customer deadlines

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in electromechanical assembly
• Cable assembly, wiring, crimping and soldering experience
• Experience working to IPC standards, ideally IPC-A-620
• The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and assembly instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience within an engineering, electronics, aerospace, defence or manufacturing environment
