Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager – To £85k + Bens

Our client is a growing fit-out contractor delivering high-quality commercial interiors, workplace environments, glazing, partitioning and specialist subcontract packages across London and the South East.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join our delivery team and help drive the successful completion of multiple commercial projects.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Projects Director, you will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery is on programme, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Leading client, consultant and contractor meetings
• Programme planning and management
• Design coordination with architects, designers and consultants
• Managing site teams, installers and subcontract labour
• Commercial awareness, including variations and change management
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements
• Providing regular progress reports to the Projects Director
• Maintaining strong client relationships throughout project delivery

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Ideally 5+ years' permanent employment experience in a Project Manager role
• Experience within glazing, partitions, interiors, fit-out or specialist subcontracting
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction projects in London
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Commercial awareness and experience managing project variations
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
