What You’ll Be Doing

* Leading and managing audit assignments from planning through to completion across a varied portfolio

* Supervising and mentoring audit and accounts team members, ensuring high standards

* Reviewing working papers, financial statements and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance

* Overseeing workloads, running regular team meetings and reporting progress to senior leadership

* Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders – the key contact for audit and accounting

* Monitoring budgets and delivering audit findings with practical

recommendations

What

We’re Looking For

* ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with strong experience within an accountancy practice

* A track record of managing audit projects and leading teams

* Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards (FRS 102 and UK GAAP)

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

* Confident, organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities

* A full UK driving licence (for occasional travel when

required)
