Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) - Out-of-HoursLocation: Newham (various OOH primary care sites / UCC / bases as required)Hourly PayThe Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) will work autonomously within the Newham Out-of-Hours (OOH) primary care service, providing high-quality clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients presenting with urgent, undifferentiated, or complex health needs.This role mirrors the clinical scope of ANPs within GP surgeries while adapting to the rapid-response, time-sensitive, and variable-demand environment of the OOH service. The ANP will manage face-to-face and telephone consultations and work collaboratively with GPs, urgent care teams, NHS 111, and local health partners to ensure safe and effective patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical PracticeIndependently assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions presenting out of hours.Provide safe and evidence-based prescribing in line with legal and organisational frameworks (non-medical prescribing qualification required).Undertake clinical decision-making for undifferentiated and complex presentations, referring or escalating appropriately.Perform physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans.Provide urgent care interventions, including management of minor injuries, infections, respiratory and cardiovascular presentations, abdominal pain, paediatrics, low-level trauma, and exacerbations of long-term ..... full job details .....
