Our client is seeking a dynamic Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis at their vibrant location in Swansea Waterfront. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an organisation that values education and supports the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and reconcile supplier accounts.
• Assist in resolving supplier queries in a timely manner.
• Support month-end closing processes related to purchase ledger activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchase ledger processes.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Proven experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable roles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset.
