Recruit4staff are representing an established engineering and fabrication business in their search for a Fabricator Welder to work in Wrexham Job Details: Pay: £18.40 per hour PAYE / £23.00 per hour CIS/Ltd Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (3:30 pm finish Friday) Duration: Temporary (ongoing) Job Role: As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of structural steelwork, pipework and metal assemblies from engineering drawings. The role involves completing projects through the full fabrication and welding process, using MIG/MAG and TIG welding techniques, including TIG root runs on pipework with purge control. The Fabricator Welder will work independently from engineering drawings to produce structural, plate and pipework assemblies to the required standards. Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications: Apprentice-trained Fabricator Welder with proven post-apprenticeship experience in a fabrication workshop environment Experience working from engineering drawings on structural, plate and pipework assemblies Competent in MIG/MAG and TIG welding Experience completing TIG root runs on pipework with purge control Able to weld pipework in the 5G/6G positions Completion of a recognised apprenticeship Level 3 qualification in Welding and Fabrication, such as City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications Previous or current welding codings relevant to a Fabricator Welder position ..... full job details .....
