Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are currently recruiting-for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the safe and efficient running of a leading manufacturing company based in Portsmouth.-This is a hands-on role covering both planned and reactive maintenance.

Main Duties

• General building and facilities maintenance.
• Minor plumbing, carpentry, decorating and basic electrical work.
• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues.
• Carry out routine inspections and identify faults or hazards.
• Support contractors and site works.
• Maintain clean, safe and functional facilities.
• Record maintenance activity using the CMMS system.
• Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH and environmental procedures.

Ideal Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in facilities or building maintenance or strong hands on skills with a relatable background.
• Practical skills across several maintenance disciplines.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety.
• Practical, proactive and able to work independently.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• CMMS experience and relevant trade qualifications are advantageous.

Salary:- -30K - -35K

Hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
