.We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex water projects from conception through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and stakeholder management. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of infrastructure systems, and the ability to work within highly regulated environments while ensuring successful project outcomes for both clients and the organisation.As a Senior Project Manager, you will have knowledge and experience in both pre and post-contract management in NEC 3 or NEC 4 ECC form and procurement within the UK water, environment, rail or nuclear sector. As a Senior Project Manager, you will have experience working with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and/or Early Subcontractor Involvement (ESI) in design and build major capital programmes.Key Responsibilities
.Lead the end-to-end delivery of major water projectsDevelop comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategiesEnsuring project deliverables are aligned to client requirements and contractual obligationsCoordinate design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning phasesEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standardsBuild and lead multidisciplinary project teamsManage resource allocation and workload distribution across the project teamMaintain effective relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodiesIdentify, assess, and manage project risks through comprehensive risk registersCollaborating payment valuations and certifying monthly payments under ECC and PSC (NEC4)Implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plansMonitor project budgets and financial performance against approved baselinesManage cash flow forecasting and expenditure reportingImplement quality management systems and ensure adherence to project specificationsECC Contract management and administration (client-side)Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire and motivate teamsExcellent people management and conflict resolution abilitiesUnderstanding of infrastructure design principles and construction methodologiesUnderstanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance obligationsProficiency in project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMI, APM)Risk management and issue resolution capabilitiesQuality management and assurance expertiseUnderstanding of commercial and contractual principlesBudget management and financial control skillsCost management and value engineering capabilitiesStrong presentation and facilitation abilitiesExperience and Qualifications
.Minimum 5 years\'' experience in project management within infrastructure, utilities, or rail sectorsExperience of NEC3/4 Option A, Option C and Option EProven track record of delivering projects with values exceeding £10 millionExperience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environmentsBachelor\''s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical disciplineRecognised project management qualification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or APM)Professional membership of relevant institution (ICE, IET, CIOB, or equivalent)If you\''re interested in this role and feel you have the skills and experience to exceed, please send your CV to
