We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to support a busy operational business delivering field-based services across the region. Immediate start needed! This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive Health and Safety professional who enjoys a hands-on role, working closely with operational teams to drive compliance, improve standards, and promote a positive safety culture. Candidates from utilities, construction, infrastructure, rail, highways, facilities management, or other operational environments are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day Health and Safety and compliance activities across operational teams. Undertake regular site visits, behavioural safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews. Review and monitor RAMS, safe systems of work, and other Health and Safety documentation. Lead investigations into incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and completed. Provide practical Health and Safety advice and support to managers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Monitor compliance performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate Health and Safety records, audit reports, and supporting documentation. Support stakeholder engagement on Health and Safety and compliance matters.
